This is a document containing a risk analysis, as well as information from the design, operational and technological documentation on the minimum safety measures required when working with this machine (equipment)

The safety justification is included in the set of mandatory documents for the certification or declaration of machinery and equipment for compliance with the requirements of TR CU 010/2011 'On the safety of machinery and equipment' TR CU 032/2013 'On the safety of equipment operating at excessive pressures '.

In accordance with GOST 54122-2010, the development of a safety case is allowed in two versions:
1. Short safety case. It does not contain the results of measurements and tests, the document is declarative. He must confirm that the product meets all the requirements of the technical rules.

2. Complete safety case. The document contains the results of all tests and calculations, as well as documented documentation of the measures developed to ensure safety. The purpose of using this document is to conduct supervision and control procedures for the safety of machinery and equipment.

According to the legislation, the safety logic for machinery and equipment should be developed by manufacturers, designers of machinery and equipment during design. In addition, for the purpose of developing operational and design documentation, design organizations can be attracted. The original document must be kept by the designer or developer. A copy is given to the manufacturer and the organization where the equipment is used.

The safety logic for machinery and equipment contains the following structure:
Basic technical characteristics of machinery and equipment.
General safety rules for machinery and equipment.
Equipment reliability requirements.

Requirements for personnel using the equipment.
Risk analysis of machinery and equipment operation.
Safety requirements when putting equipment into service.
Requirements for safety checking when checking equipment.
Quality management requirements for safety control in the use of equipment.

Requirements for monitoring environmental protection during commissioning, use and subsequent disposal of machinery and equipment.
Requirements for the collection and evaluation of safety-related information during commissioning, operation and subsequent disposal of equipment.
Requirements to ensure safety in the disposal process of equipment.
