This technical regulation was developed in order to protect human life and health, the environment, life and health of animals, to prevent actions that mislead consumers of slaughter products and meat products as regards the their purpose and safety and applies to slaughter products and meat products released into circulation in the customs territory of the Customs Union, as well as the processes of production, storage, transport, sale and disposal.

This Technical Regulation establishes the safety requirements for slaughter products and meat products that are mandatory for application and implementation in the customs territory of the Customs Union and the related requirements for the production, storage, transport, sale and disposal, as well as the requirements for the labeling and packaging of slaughter products and meat products to ensure the free movement of products put into circulation in the customs territory of the Customs Union.

The applicant can be a legal person or a natural person registered under the law of a Member State of the Customs Union on its territory, as an individual entrepreneur, a producer, or performing the functions of a foreign producer on the basis of an agreement. with him, in terms of guaranteeing the conformity of the products supplied to the requirements of this technical regulation and in terms of responsibility for the non-conformity of the products supplied with the requirements of this technical regulation of the Customs Union (person who performs the functions of a foreign manufacturer ).

1. Slaughterhouse products and meat products:
meat;
offal;
crude fat and products of its processing, including rendered animal fats;
blood and products of its processing;
bone and products of its processing;
mechanically deboned meat (additional deboning); intestinal raw materials;
raw materials containing collagen and products of its processing (including gelatin);
meat and meat products;
meat and sausages containing meat;
meat and semi-finished products containing meat and culinary products;
canned meat and foods containing meat;
meat and broths containing meat;
dried meat and products containing meat;
bacon products;
slaughter products for baby food;
meat products for baby food;
2. processes of production, storage, transport, sale, disposal of slaughter products and meat products. Homemade products are not eligible for certification.

The period of validity of the declaration of conformity for serial meat products does not exceed 5 years.
