This technical regulation of the customs union was developed in order to establish in the unified customs territory of the customs union uniform requirements for the use and fulfillment of fruit juice and (or) vegetable products, to ensure free movement of fruit juice (or) vegetable products, put into circulation in a single customs territory of the Customs Union.

This technical regulation of the Customs Union, in order to protect human life and health and prevent actions that deceive buyers (consumers), establishes:

requirements for fruit and (or) vegetable juices;
requirements for production, storage, transport and sales processes related to requirements for fruit and (or) vegetable juices;
rules for the identification of fruit and (or) vegetable juices;
schemes to confirm compliance of fruit and (or) vegetable products;
requirements for the labeling of fruit and (or) vegetable juices.

The applicant can be a legal person or a natural person registered under the law of a Member State of the Customs Union on its territory, as an individual entrepreneur, a producer, or performing the functions of a foreign producer on the basis of an agreement. with him, in terms of guaranteeing the conformity of the products supplied to the requirements of this technical regulation and in terms of responsibility for the non-conformity of the products supplied with the requirements of this technical regulation of the Customs Union (person who performs the functions of a foreign manufacturer ).

This technical regulation of the Customs Union applies to fruit and (or) vegetable juices put into circulation in the common customs territory of the Customs Union.

It does not apply to fruit and (or) vegetable juices produced by citizens at home, in personal subsidiary plots or by citizens engaged in gardening, horticulture and the processes of production, storage, transport and disposal of juice products intended for for personal consumption only, and not intended for release into circulation in the unified customs territory of the customs union.

When declaring conformity of a batch of fruit and (or) vegetable juices, the validity period of the declaration of conformity must correspond to the shelf life of those products.
When declaring the conformity of fruit and (or) vegetable products produced in batches, the validity of the declaration of conformity does not exceed five years.
